Today is the last chance for donors to the Annual Giving Program to RSVP for the appreciation reception Monday, June 9. To sweeten the incentive, the event will feature summertime treats: iced tea, lemonade, cake and ice cream, says organizer Mona Dosen.

“Our catering staff has put together some items that should satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth,” she says. “Their offerings will be perfect for that afternoon lull.”

Invitations to the event, which will begin at 2 p.m., have been issued to faculty, staff and retiree supporters of the 2013/14 Annual Giving Program. In addition to a brief program on the results of this year’s fundraising efforts, it will feature a draw for two special door prizes—naming rights to a commemorative bench on the UWindsor campus and train travel for two on Via Rail. Winners must be present to claim their prize.
