What career paths are open to graduates of visual arts programs—other than pursuing professional practice as an artist?

A panel will discuss this question from 4 to 5:30 p.m.  Tuesday, March 18, in room 115, LeBel Building.

Each of the panelists for “Careers in Visual Arts: Beyond the Obvious” either studied visual arts before going on to build a career or works in a field that draws upon the skills of visual artists:

• Cathy Masterson, manager of cultural affairs, City of Windsor
• Mary Rodgers, marketing and communications officer, City of Windsor
• Michelle Soullière, cultural animator, Arts Council Windsor & Region
• Suzie Woodward, tattoo artist, Sanctuary Tattoos
• Robert Wright, administrative and production assistant, Avanti Press

A half-hour informal networking session will follow the one-hour panel discussion.
