Political science professor Tom Najem, a fellow of the Humanities Research Group, will deliver a free public lecture Wednesday on the topic “The Jerusalem Old City Initiative: an Exercise in Creative Political Imagination.”
The project is developing options for the governance and management of the Old City of Jerusalem in preparation for a negotiated settlement between Israelis and Palestinians. In encouraging dialogue and on key issues critical to the national and religious aspirations of all involved parties, participants hope to establish a foundation for further political negotiations.
Dr. Najem’s talk begins at 4 p.m. March 5 in McPherson Lounge, Alumni Hall.
