The University Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Bob Fazecash, presents its fall concert this Saturday, November 30, at Banwell Community Church.
Student vocalists Lisette Gagnon, Brady Anderson, Chris Martel and Amanda Stacey will headline a program that spans the gamut from Duke Ellington and Frank Sinatra to Herbie Hancock and Gordon Goodwin. A big band of more than 20 musicians will back them; find a list of performers and program notes on the event website.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at Banwell Community Church, 2400 Banwell Road on Windsor’s east side. Admission is $10, with a discounted student rate of $5. Order tickets online or by phone at 519-253-30000, ext. 4212.
