The Centre for Smart Community Innovation invites friends and colleagues of Kristina Verner to bid her farewell at an open house reception on Friday, July 13.
Verner, the centre’s research and development officer, is leaving Windsor to take a position in Toronto. She will continue to have ties to the University of Windsor, as a sessional instructor in computer science.
“We are sorry to lose Kristina as an asset to our local community given her most successful joint pursuit of the creation of a vibrant intelligent community in Windsor-Essex,” says executive director Todd Sands. “We sincerely congratulate her not only on her acceptance of this new position, but also on her accomplishments.”
The reception will run 3 to 5 p.m. in the lounge and patio on the Leddy Library’s fourth floor.
