University Wind Ensemble concert to feature flute soloist

Flutist Jonathan Bayley will take centre stage for Stephen Bulla’s Rhapsody for Flute during the University Wind Ensemble’s fall concert, Friday, November 25.

Dr. Bayley is an associate professor in the Faculty of Education and a former director of the School of Music. He taught flute at Alberta College Conservatory of Music for 15 years.

The ensemble, directed by Ric Moor, will perform a program that ranges from spirituals to military music, from pop to classical works. It includes a composition by UWindsor alumna Shelley Marwood titled “On a Whim.”
