If you like to bowl and believe in supporting humanitarian causes for children in developing countries, then you should head straight to the Bowlero lanes this Friday night.

The University of Windsor’s UNICEF chapter is hosting a bowling night fundraiser at the alley, located at 675 Tecumseh Road West, November 25 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Tickets are $12, which includes shoe rentals, and are available beginning today through Friday in the CAW Student Centre commons area. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund was established in 1946 to help children in countries that were devastated by the Second World War. Since then it has expanded its mandate to provide assistance to children and their mothers in developing countries around the world.
