Eric Parker is a fourth-year Bachelor of Applied Science Honours Electrical Engineering co-operative education student at the University of Windsor set to graduate in August 2018. He completed four co-op job placements in a variety of engineering roles at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), Essex Energy Corporation, BlackBerry, and CenterLine (Windsor) Ltd. contributing to projects resulting in over $4 million in costs savings for these companies. Eric is a strong advocate for the co-operative education program because of the many benefits it provides to both students and employers, namely the experiential and networking opportunities, the possibility to experience multiple industries in a variety of professional roles, and the financial compensation provided to students which immensely reduces the financial burden associated with undergraduate studies.
