Dr. Christopher Abeare, C.Psych.
Dr. Abeare earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience, from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his Pre-doctoral Internship at the Ann Arbor VA hospital. He has been a faculty member at the University of Windsor as a member of the Clinical Neuropsychology track since 2005. He is also a faculty member in the Behaviour, Cognition and Neuroscience (BCN) program. His primary research interests include neuropsychological assessment, emotional functioning, traumatic brain injury, and sport-related concussion. Visit Dr. Abeare's lab website for more information.
Dr. Joe Casey, C.Psych.
Dr. Joe Casey is a clinical neuropsychologist and professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor. His research and clinical activities focus primarily on issues related to clinical neuropsychological assessment and on disorders that have their origin in childhood, including sport-related concussion in children and youth. He teaches courses on developmental disabilities, clinical assessment, and neuropsychology, and is also involved in the training, education, and research supervision of graduate students who are focusing their training in clinical neuropsychology. In 2013, he received the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Public or Community Service presented by the Canadian Psychological Association. Visit Dr. Casey's lab website for more information.
