Campus Food and Beverage Policy

All food and beverage services on campus must be exclusively provided through Sodexo. This policy applies to all university-sponsored events, student groups, meetings, and gatherings held on campus grounds.

Bringing in food from external vendors, including catering services, or local restaurants, or homemade meals for organized events, is not permitted.

In the event that Catering Services is not able to meet the food requirements for an event, the Catering Services team will work with the event organizer to make the necessary arrangements including, but not limited to securing an external caterer compliant with WECHU food safety requirements.

This policy ensures consistency in food quality, adherence to health and safety regulations, and supports the sustainability of our campus food services. If you require catering or have specific dietary needs, please coordinate with Sodexo directly to find suitable options.

Ratified Student Groups when holding an event for Fundraising Purposes and Welcome Week on-campus BBQ events are welcome to apply for an exemption here. Please note that we require the form to be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event.
