Annual reports very much reflect a moment in time. But they can also provide a comprehensive roadmap that tell you not just where you have been, but where you are going.
That’s certainly the case with this year’s University of Windsor annual report which covers the period from May 2018 through April 2019.
Perhaps the year is best reflected in the positive and forward-thinking spirit of the Windsor Proud awareness and recruitment campaign that was launched in 2018. We know that the University is heading in the right direction, with exceptional people at its foundation, in terms of growing enrolment, innovative teaching, important research, relevant and innovative programs, impactful services, renewed infrastructure and community partnerships.
Whether it’s addressing challenges related to the Great Lakes or to our national borders, helping ensure safe, vibrant and healthy communities, or promoting the environment and sustainable manufacturing, we are making a difference. And what we do is translating into impactful opportunities for Windsor and Essex County, our province, our country and beyond.
None of this would possible without the dedication and hard work of our incredible students, staff and faculty, and their efforts are front and centre in the 2018-2019 annual report. We all look forward to building on the commitment to excellence that exists throughout our exceptional institution.
