Thank you for your interest in the trip to Harvest Moon Pow Wow on Walpole Island First Nation. Below is the itinerary:
Saturday, Sepember 14th
9:45am: Meet at Vanier Hall at University of Windsor.
10:00am: Board bus to Walpole Island.
11:45am: Arrive at Harvest Moon Pow Wow.
3:00pm: Meet and Board bus back to Windsor.
5:00pm: Arrive back at Vanier Hall at University of Windsor
Priority will be given to Indigenous University of Windsor students. This is a FREE trip.
Your transportation is covered by Turtle Island - Aboriginal Education Centre. Admission to the pow wow is Free but donations are encouraged.
Please bring money for meals and any spending you wish to do during the trip. There will be craft and food vendors on site.
You are also encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs as there is limited seating at pow wows.
Registered attendees may bring a guest.
