Past Projects

Winds STEAM & Beginning Time Teaching Project

The 4 Winds STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and Beginning Time Teaching Project is geared towards FNMI and non-FNMI youth in grades 5 & 6.  Every workshop addresses Ontario curriculum expectations while making strong connections to the FNMI culture.  Workshops take on the format of online support, in-classroom presentations and Saturday workshops.

Turtle Island Summer Arts Camp

The camp usually runs throughout the month of July at Catholic Central High School.  Elementary students are exposed and take part in various Aboriginal art activities.  The camp provides a safe place for students to develop their artistic skills and self-confidence; all while making lifelong friendships and having fun.
