Description:
Antisemitism is not just an historical issue, it is an ongoing, ever-present challenge that impacts individuals, communities and campuses worldwide. This panel discussion brings together a diverse group of Jewish voices featuring a Rabbi, a community leader, a student and faculty member to explore the realities of antisemitism in the academic and greater community spaces.
Sharing personal insights, historical context and real-life experiences, our panelists will examine how antisemitism manifests today, the ways it affects students and broader communities. There is a role for universities, institutions, fellow students, staff and faculty to foster a meaningful inclusive environment. It is an aspiration of the panelists to create an interactive dialogue and provide attendees practical ways on how we can work together to foster a deeper understanding of antisemitism and create practical ways to confront it, promote inclusivity, and build meaningful relationships together.
