This is a two-day event! You can attend one or the other or both to be eligible to apply for the team that travels to a National Model United Nations trip in Fall 2024!
Compete for a position on the 2024 National Model United Nations Team!
This is an exciting opportunity for four UWindsor students to participate in a Model United Nations in Washington DC November 7 - 12. Students meet new people from all over the world and hone their global citizenship and leadership skills. The University of Windsor Delegation will be assigned a country and specific meetings after we've selected the award winners.
Applicant Criteria
Participants of the UWill Discover Sustainable Futures Model UN team must meet the following criteria:
- Must be legally able and available to enter the United States with an up-to-date passport for the time of travel (November 2024)
- Applicants must be UWindsor students enrolled in the Fall 2024 semester.
- Students must have participated in the UWill Discover project as a student-employee, presenter, podcaster, poster presenter, or event participant (STEMx, UWindsor UWill Discover MUN).
- Students must be able to complete weekly team meetings and tasks beginning in June (either online or in person).
- Students must be willing to run a small MUN event at the University of Windsor in the Winter 2025 semester.
