Summer Jazz Program
The University of Windsor Lab School: Summer Jazz Program is a summer day camp designed for aspiring musicians who want to learn to improvise and play jazz. Beginners, intermediate and advanced level students ages 14 and up are welcome to join the fun. Students will be placed into various ensembles and lesson groups based on their level of ability.
Music Experiences include: jazz jam sessions, small-group combo jazz rehearsals, big-band rehearsal, jam sessions, and jazz theory/harmony/improvisation masterclasses, under the instruction from the University of Windsor’s School of Creative Arts faculty.
Students are required to bring their own instrument. A short audition video submission is required.
