UWindsor scientists will shed some light on the subject of light during a public event Thursday, May 24, at the Walkerville Brewery.

“Light and Libations,” part of the Science on Tap series, will highlight research from some campus labs with short talks, demonstrations, and art projects on different aspects of light.

The topic is inspired by this year’s inaugural International Day of Light, a global initiative to spark appreciation of light and the role it plays in science, culture and art, education, and sustainable development.

The event runs 7 to 10 p.m. at the brewery, located at 525 Argyle Road. Tickets cost $10, which includes one beer. Order online through Snapd.
