The Polish ambassador to Canada made several campus stops during his first visit to Windsor, March 24 to 28.
Andrzej Kurnicki took up his post in September after a career that includes stints in business and academe; he earned a doctorate in economics from Warsaw University in 2011.
He was welcomed Monday at the Odette School of Business, where he addressed students, and visited the Leddy Library for a meeting with University Librarian Pascal Calarco. On Tuesday, he met with UWindsor president Alan Wildeman and other officials before touring the Cross-Border Institute.
While in town, he also met local politicians, business professionals and development commissioners.
