If you anticipate that your students will use the Digital Print Lab for course assignments, the lab technician or a monitor can take a few minutes at the beginning of each semester (by appointment) to briefly present to your class lab use and payment policies, paper sizes and types, file preparation, image margins, suggested image size, and how to soft proof.
