Please note that the University of Windsor will be closed for the holiday break starting December 23 until January 2. However, we can still assist you with donating for the 2024 calendar year.
If your gift is received by December 31, 2024, you will receive a charitable tax receipt for 2024. You can donate in the following ways:
Canadian residents or alumni:
- Online by credit card at www.uwindsor.ca/donate. If the fund you are looking for is not listed under Designation, please select “Other” in the drop down (at the bottom of the list) and please type in the name of the designation in the field for “other designation".
- Through gifts of shares or securities using this form: https://www.uwindsor.ca/finance/sites/uwindsor.ca.finance/files/gift_of_securities_form_-_june_24.pdf. Please also send an email to kelly.gosselin@uwindsor.ca to advise us of your intent.
- By mail as long as the cheque is dated in 2024, the envelope is postmarked 2024, and the cheque is made payable to the “University of Windsor”. Please indicate the designation of your gift in the memo line of your cheque. All cheques can be mailed to:

U.S. residents:
- Mail a post-marked envelope and cheque written to our U.S. Foundation “Friends of the University of Windsor” to receive an American tax receipt. Please use the 401 Sunset address above.
- Please note we are unable to accept credit card donations to the U.S. Foundation at this time.
