Applications are required to be considered for all departmental TAships for this coming winter 2025 semester.
Our Winter 2025 Teaching Assistant posting is now open for applications. The deadline for applications is Friday, November 15, 2024 by noon EST. The posting and application form can be viewed below as a PDF file.

Important Information
The application should include the TA application form completely filled in and a copy of your unofficial transcript. Please complete the TA application with the list of all courses for which you have worked as a TA including the term and year.
Please submit an electronic copy of the completed application and a copy of your unofficial transcript to the Graduate Secretary, Department of Sociology and Criminology by email at gradsoc@uwindsor.ca. Please submit pdf documents and not jpeg documents.
On the GA/TA application, the AAU Name is the name of the department: Sociology and Criminology.
- Teaching Assistants must apply each term by the application deadline, in accordance with the Article 13 of the CUPE 4580 Collective Agreement.
- All GAs and TAs hired will be required to complete the mandatory new employee training at uwindsor.ca/requiredtraining and provide proof of completion to Sociology and Criminology Dept. If you have already completed this training, please submit your certificate and/or email confirmations along with your application.
