Title: Enhanced Estimation Techniques with Parameter Constraints in Climatology
Abstract: This talk presents novel statistical methods developed to enhance estimation by integrating Maximum Likelihood and Bayesian frameworks under the presence of parameter constraints. The approach leverages newly formulated techniques that incorporate additional information, which naturally arises in practical applications, to impose constraints such as order, rectangular, spherical, and order-bounded conditions on the parameter space. By embedding these constraints, our methods exploit the inherent structural dependencies among parameters, leading to more precise and robust estimators. The developed techniques are applied to climatological data, showcasing significant improvements in model accuracy, predictive performance, and inference reliability.
