The deadline for domestic and international applications for September (Fall) admission for research-based graduate programs is April 1st each year. However, for full consideration for funding opportunities, the deadline is January 5. All completed applications received by the application deadline will be reviewed, and applicants accepted will be notified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
To be eligible for funding and entrance scholarships, students must have a minimum average of 80% (A-) or higher at the time of an offer of admission, as determined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies. This is average is based on the last two years (20 courses) of study. No separate application is required for entrance scholarships; the department will make the endorsement when recommending the application for admission. More information on funding is available here.
At this time, the department only offers Fall admissions.
Yes. All applications require a statement of interest. You can find the form here.
No, but if you have contacted a potential supervisor, please indicate this on your research statement form. If not, your application will be reviewed by faculty in the field of your selected research area. Only those applicants who receive offers of supervision will be offered admission.
Yes, you need to submit this list separately, and it should only include math and stats courses. You do not need to include course syllabi.

The minimum for MSc programs is 70%, and the minimum for PhD programs is 77%. Meeting these minimums does not guarantee admission.
Follow the steps provided on the Graduate Studies website. After completing the initial application and payment, including identifying referees, you will receive an email acknowledging your application (this may take up to two business days). Upon receiving this email, please allow 24 hours before attempting to follow steps 2 through 4. Your documentation, including transcripts, research statement, and course list must be uploaded to the eGAS application system. Your referees will be contacted automatically via email to upload their documents. The application fee is $125. No waiver is available for the application fee. The application period opens each year in October for the following Fall.
No. The Graduate Committee will only consider completed applications upon their submission. We cannot determine admissibility based on documentation sent by email or a description of your academic or employment background.
No, we do not require GRE scores for admission.

If required to provide English-language test scores, the following are the minimum scores:

Test scores older than two years old will not be accepted.
If accepted, your offer letter will instruct you to submit official English-language scores directly to UWindsor's Registrar's office.
