
TORONTO, Ont. and Philadelphia, PA – The University of Windsor (UWindsor) has joined the Ontario network of the EnerTech Advanced Mobility Ecosystem (EAME), a partnership created with the purpose of sharing ideas related to innovation, identifying business opportunities, and exploring potential partnerships. The University of Windsor highly values and actively supports research and collaboration with industry, non-profit, government organizations, and community partners. Their world-class researchers collaborate to bring new mobility and related ideas and technologies to the local, national, and global markets.
UWindsor's goal of joining the EAME is to focus on collaborative innovation, economic and workforce development, policies and regulation. Their primary innovation areas are EVs and LEVs, batteries and other energy storage, energy transition, digital technologies, AI and robotics, industry 4.0 solutions, advanced manufacturing, smart mobility, and shared mobility.

The EAME is a partnership, originally formed in 2019 by EnerTech, Alectra, Linamar, and Western University, has created an enhanced collaborative environment that focuses on advancements in autonomy, electrification and alternative fuels, data and connectivity, smart mobility, and digital manufacturing. The ecosystem has since grown to include key corporations and academic institutions from across Canada and the United States.
