Dr. Boucher earned her Ph.D. in Adult Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor. She completed predoctoral training with the Calgary Clinical Psychology Residency Program and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan. She is currently licensed in the province of Ontario with competencies across the lifespan, and for individuals and couples. She joined the University of Windsor as an Assistant Professor in 2021.
Her research focuses on relationships amongst autobiographical memories, emotions, self-views, and processes that support different perspectives on experience. She is particularly interested in (meta)cognitive mechanisms that promote adaptive self-reflection, emotion change, psychological closure, and trauma resolution. In addition to theoretical development, she hopes to investigate applications for clinical practice.
