I am an interdisciplinary social work researcher focused on exploring the intersection of mental health and first response services (law enforcement, firefighters, and paramedics). Specifically, I am interested in understanding the impact of different types of occupational stress, including the factors that contribute to the development of stress reactions (e.g., posttraumatic stress disorder, burnout) and evidence-based best practices to ameliorate that stress.
