About Celebration of Nations
Celebration of Nations will be celebrating with the University of Windsor community to highlight and enrich cultural diversity within the University campus and the Windsor-Essex community. We will be showcasing talent, taste, and education to promote awareness of cultural differences and to learn about other cultures while encouraging everyone to celebrate their own heritage.
You can view the Celebration of Nations event via the University of Windsor Instagram page. Be sure to tune into the event daily during the designated week!
You can also check out our Facebook page for event information.

Are you interested in participating in the event?
- Booth display: Represent your country, showcase artifacts, provide pictures and related facts about your culture. Have a delicious snack or a type of traditional food that you want to introduce to participants? Feel free to bring it to the table!
- Flag parade: Early registered birds have a higher chance to be assigned with their preferred flag, or they can choose to bear a different nation's flag during the parade. The designated route will start from the Welcome Centre, and end at CAW Student Centre.
- Performances: Dancing, singing, or playing instruments. Talents are meant to be known, not hidden. Let us enjoy, admire, and jam to your performance!
- Cultural Attire Showcase: Dress in your traditional clothes at our event, share with us some information about your traditional attires, and give us a walk. We would love to see the beauty and the variation of each nation's traditional attire.
- Volunteer: Be a volunteer at the Celebration of Nations event!
