Windsor Law students participated in the national Canadian Corporate Securities Moot, a highly competitive moot hosted by Davies LLP, involving 13 law schools across the country. The moot pertains to current legal issues in corporate and securities law and each student is required to argue twice during the competition, once on behalf of the appellant and once on behalf of the respondent.
Our 2016 team included four second year student mooters – Vanessa Locicero (JD), Kristyn Baim (JD), Randall Lau (JD) and Peter Valente (JD), coached by Professor George Stewart and Jessica Koper.
Congratulations to team member Vanessa Locicero, who won 2nd place for top individual oralist in the entire competition.
All team members are commended for their hard work as their strong performance at the moot was remarked upon by panelists and judges.
