On November 18, 2015, the 42nd Annual Zuber Moot Competition was held at the Ron W. Ianni Faculty of Law Building.
The Moot Court of Windsor bench consisted of the Honourable Madam Justice Sarah Pepall of the Ontario Court of Appeal, The Honourable Mr. Justice Steven Rogin, of the Superior Court of Ontario (and also a member of our first graduating class of 1971), and the Honourable Mr. Justice Lloyd Dean of the Ontario Court of Justice.
Moot Finalists were Lois Boetang, David Ragni, Chandra Ewing and Leiganne Rathwell. The appellants and respondents argued both sides of the case R. v. Nur. The event was sponsored in association with the Students’ Law Society.
Anjali Rajan and Nergiz Sinjari won a prize for best factum. Honourable mention for Best Facta were Anthony Deluca and Peter Valente.
Honourable Mention Oralists from the preliminary rounds were Shreya Tekriwal, Shelby Morrison and Ivanna Iwasykiw.

The Moot is named after the Honourable Mr. Justice Thomas Zuber, formerly of the Ontario Court of Appeal. The first moot was held in 1974.
