In a CBC interview on the Syrian refugee crisis, Professor Anneke Smit discussed her frustration with the lack of action by the City of Windsor in coordinating efforts in the City to welcome Syrian refugees. She reminded viewers about the leading role Windsor took during the late 1970's Vietnamese refugee crisis and challenged the city to lead once again.
