Dr. Andrew Buck has been appointed Director of the Dual JD Program run between the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy Law School.
He was previously Professor of Law at Macquarie University Law School in Sydney, Australia, and has held the positions of Associate Dean (Strategic Development) in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Australian Catholic University and Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Arts at Macquarie University. He has also taught at The University of Western Ontario Law School and the Law School at the University of Florida at Gainesville.
He is the co-recipient of a teaching award from Texas State University for a course taught jointly between Texas State and Macquarie University which examined the politics of property rights in the United States and Australia. He has published six books in the field of legal history, particularly with reference to the history of property.
