What difference will you make this #WLGivingDay?
In support of our students and our future, Windsor Law is hosting a 24-hour fundraising day!
We will transform the physical space for future generations of law students, making the space more warm, welcoming and accessible. On February 25th, you can be an important part of this progress.
Windsor Law alum Allan Stitt '88 (President and Chief Executive Officer of ADR Chambers and the Stitt Feld Handy Group) has generously agreed to match every gift (to a total of $25,000) made on giving day, doubling each gift made.
The new building will be contemporary and easy to navigate. Classrooms will be flooded with natural light and enhance the entire experience at Windsor Law. It will encourage active learning, collaboration and problem-solving. There will be new, flexible meeting spaces for student groups - to study, practice for moots and law school competitions, and to strengthen social bonds between classmates.
Donors who make a gift on February 25th will be acknowledged in several important ways. They will be featured on our annual "WL Giving Day Difference" banner in the law school, to inspire our students and law school community to get involved each year. They will be listed in our Giving Day donor roll in our Summer edition of Access Windsor Law Newsletter, which will be circulated to alumni and friends of Windsor Law, and gifts over $1000 will be acknowledged on the donor wall. Our progress will be shared once #WLGivingDay concludes.

Is there a minimum gift amount?
No - every gift will be acknowledged and gratefully accepted.
Who is participating?
Law students, alumni, faculty, staff and community partners are all joining us on #WLgivingday Can I make my gift over the phone or by mail? You can call 519 253 3000 x 2920 and make a gift over the phone. If you would like to mail a donation, you can send by post.
Can I create my own fund?
For a donation of $4500 you can set up a new annual award. $1500 received before March 15th gets the ball rolling. Our alumni and fund development team can collaborate with you on the terms of reference. For more information, visit uwindsor.ca/alumni
What will be happening at Windsor Law on Giving Day?

Can I only contribute to Giving Day on February 25?
You can donate to Windsor Law or our building campaign 365 days a year.
Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
All donations of $15 or more will receive a tax receipt.
What portion of my gift will go toward administrative or processing fees?
Your entire gift goes to the area you specify.
What follow-up will I receive regarding my gift?
Once you’ve made an online gift, you will receive a confirmation email that the transaction has been successfully completed. We'll also follow up with you with a confirmation thank you letter and mail you a copy of the newsletter in the summer acknowledging your contribution.
Is my payment secure?
Absolutely. Our systems are fully PCI-compliant. Information collected is only used by the University of Windsor and will not be sold or shared with any third-party organization. Credit card information is not stored.
