Message from Dean Bahdi, March 21, 2022
Windsor Law’s Anti-Black Racism Committee Report reinforces this message and also reinforces our commitment to being a justice-seeking, community-engaged and people-centred institution that aims to live up to the best version of itself.
The Windsor Law community met this morning to discuss these reports. They are now being posted on this website as part of an accountability framework. We will report on our progress regularly.
Some of the findings contained in this report will be upsetting. Talking to those who understand and can support may help. There are a number of resources and supports available to Windsor Law students who wish to access them.
The Dean’s office is committed to creating spaces for ongoing learning and conversations to support action. Over the next several months, members of the Windsor Law community will receive invitations to attend voluntary debrief, roundtable or working group sessions. Together, we will continue to build a vibrant and inclusive Windsor Law community.
