Professor John Cerone was interviewed by Al Jazeera April 4. The topic was the latest Chemical weapons attack in Syria. He discussed the criminalization of chemical weapons use in internal armed conflicts, the political and practical obstacles to prosecutions, the recent openings of investigations in Austria and Spain, as well as the newly established special investigative task force created by the UN General Assembly to document and preserve evidence of international crimes being committed in Syria.
