This special issue of the Third World Quarterly grew out of the 2015 "Third World Approaches to International Law Conference" (Egypt) and two writing workshops (Ireland & Canada) that Professor Xavier co-organized. These events joined a global network of scholars and practitioners in international law from 33 countries interested in studying the complex and evolving relationships between the Global South & North.
Professor Sujith Xavier co-authored the introduction while Professor Reem Bahdi contributed an article entitled, "Decolonisation, dignity and development aid: a judicial education experience in Palestine" (with Dr. Mudar Kassis).
Volume 37, issue 11 of Third World Quarterly's special issue about Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL) is now available and includes contributions by Professors Xavier and Bahdi.
