Laverne Jacobs
Professor Laverne Jacobs co-authored an action letter to the Social Security Tribunal (SST) this summer signed by 58 lawyers, academics and legal organizations requesting greater transparency in the tribunal's decision-making.
The letter expressed concern that the federal body had made public only 2% of the over 10,000 decisions it had rendered. The action letter and the SST's change in practice was discussed in the Law Times. A link to the article is here.
