Introducing the Judge in Residence Program
The Judge in Residence program brings sitting and retired judges to Windsor Law for visits that can be as short as a few days or as long as a sabbatical term. While here, judges participate in a number of law school activities and teaching opportunities.
The program gives students the chance to meet with and talk to judges and to hear about the theory and practice of judicial decision-making. It also creates opportunities for judges and law professors to exchange views on current legal issues and challenges. Finally, the program recognises the benefit and the enjoyment that judges derive from interacting with law students and law faculty.
