Located behind the south side of the building, UWindsor’s two outdoor soccer fields have been refurbished to enhance both the player and spectator experience with new lighting, interlocking walkways, trees and more. Featuring natural grass, the fields provide a much softer and forgiving playing surface reducing the ‘wear and tear’ injuries on our UWindsor varsity men and women’s soccer teams and intramural players. The design not only serves our athletics and recreational department, it will also be the new home to Lancer Summer Youth Soccer Camps. Included in the outdoor spaces is a low ropes course and an extension to the parking lot increasing the number of spaces to 189 and will include four EVCO vehicle charging stations with infrastructure to add an additional six in the future.
Iron Workers Local 700 Low Ropes Course
UWindsor's Low Ropes Course provides a unique opportunity for school groups, sport teams, organizations and business colleagues to develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Toldo Lancer Centre's Low Ropes Course includes elements of ropes, logs, beams, cargo nets and cables and through a series of fun exercises participants will be challenged to work together in a supportive, creative, and safe environment. After completing each element, Lancer Recreation facilitators help the group reflect upon their experience to foster learning and gain insight into behaviours that lead to productive teamwork.

Cricket Pitch- Coming 2023
