The University of Windsor's FALL 2024 CONVOCATION will be held Thursday, October 17 through Friday, October 18, 2024.
All convocation ceremonies will be held at the Toldo Lancer Centre.
Thursday, October 17, 2024:
Session 1: 9:30 a.m.
All programs in Undergraduate and Graduates studies in the following Faculties:
- Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
- Odette School of Business
Thursday, October 17, 2024:
Session 2: 2:30 p.m.
All programs in Undergraduate and Graduates studies in the following Faculties:

Friday, October 18, 2024:
Session 3: 9:30 a.m.

Graduands' Assembly Area
After graduands check-in, they will be directed to the marshalling area for assembly for Convocation. You only need to have your call card with you. Your diploma and personal belongings should be left with a relative or friend as that area will not be secured during the ceremony.
Crossing the Stage
When graduands proceed on stage and their name is called, the Orator’s Marshall directs them to the Chancellor. The graduates then proceed off the stage to be directed back to their seat.
Guest Tickets
Due to the size of the venue, there is a cap on the umber of guest tickets per graduate * please note the graduate does not require a ticket. To order your guest tickets please login to “Marching Order”. Instructions will be sent to your UWin email address by March 15 for Spring / August 15 for Fall, on how to order tickets. If you have not received an email and you have already applied to graduate by the dates indicated, please contact convocation@uwindsor.ca.
