Dr. Shahpour Alirezaee
Director
Dr. Alirezaee is an assistant professor at the Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering Department. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Amirkabir University, Tehran, Iran, in 2006. He is the founder of the Autonomous Intelligence Robotics Center (AIRC). Dr. Alirezaee is the coordinator of BEngTech Mechatronics Program and Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) at the University of Windsor. He is a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE), and a Professional Engineer (P.Eng). His major research interests include robotics (mobile robots, robot manipulators, human-robot interaction), autonomous systems (connected autonomous robots, autonomous underwater vehicles), and advanced manufacturing (embedded robotic and vision systems, artificial intelligence).
Dr. Saeed Mozaffari
Lab Manager
Dr. Mozaffari is a research associate at the Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering Department. Currently, he is the manager of the Autonomous Intelligence Robotics Center (AIRC). He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Amirkabir University, Tehran, Iran. Since 2020, he has been working in the AIRC at the University of Windsor. Dr. Mozaffari is Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE) and he published multiple papers in deep Learning, computer vision, pattern recognition, robotics, and autonomous vehicles.

Dr. Reza Keyhani
Researcher
Dr. Keyhani is a senior researcher at the Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering Department. He joined the Autonomous Intelligence Robotics Center (AIRC) in 2022. His research interests include advanced manufacturing and robotics. Dr. Keyhani received his Ph.D. from Queensland University of Technology in power Engineering in 2005.
Armin Nejadhossein
Researcher
Armin has received his B.Sc. in 2022 from University of Tehran majoring in Software Engineering. He joined AIRC in 2022 as a M.A.Sc. student, focusing on cooperative methods for connected and autonomous vehicles transportation. Currently, he is conducting research in the fields of artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision, and robotics.
Jinxin Ye
M.A.Sc. Student
Jinxin joined AIRC in 2024 to research in the field of mobile robot navigation using generative AI. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Southeast University in 2020 and M.A.Sc. from University of Windsor in 2022.
Jingwen Zhang
Jingwen received her M.A.Sc. degree from University of Windsor in 2023 and joined our group in 2024. She is interested in generative AI applications in robotics.
Farzaneh Yousefi

Farzaneh has received her B.S.c in 2011 at Tafresh University in Electrical Engineering. She has joined the AIRC in 2024 as a M.A.Sc. student, focusing on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in robotics and human-robot interaction.
Armin Salimikia

Armin Salimikia is a M.A.Sc. student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Windsor. He is conducting research in the field of hardware implementation of deep neural networks, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Bayesian Neural Networks (BNN), and Spiking Neural Networks (SNN).
