Rashid Minhas, a graduate student working at the Computer Vision and Sensing Systems Laboratory, under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Wu has been named as a finalist for the Best Student Paper Award at the 2008 IEEE International Conference on Automation and Logistics (ICAL), for his paper entitled "A Decentralized Data Fusion Algorithm for Local Kalman Estimates in Multisensor Environment".
