Application Process

Architecture of Italy.

 

Students must possess a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering degree) from an accredited Canadian university. Admission to the program is competitive, with a minimum entrance average equivalent to B+ (78%). In addition, standard admission requirements for entry in the Mechanical Engineering MASc program must be met. Successful applicants will be selected by a committee through an interview process. International students may apply, but will be required to have a US Entry Visa.

The program commences each September. To apply, please submit the following by February 1st:

  1. Submit online application - use MS Edge browser
  2. You will receive an email confirmation from the University of Windsor with instructions to upload the required documents listed below
  3. Once ALL documents have been uploaded please be sure to “SUBMIT” your application
  • A current resume describing work experience, software program and other language skills
  • Official Academic Transcript
  • Authorization to Release Official Documents and Information (downloadable PDF)
  • Letter of Interest addressed to the program administrator, Dr. Ofelia Jianu, in which the applicant must:
    • Describe why they are interested in the University of Windsor/Politecnico di Torino partnership program
    • Describe their education, skills and experience and why they make them an ideal candidate for the program
    • Describe their skills using CAD/Catia/Solidworks
    • Describe their leadership skills, eagerness, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
    • What type of involvement they’ve had e.g. Formula SAE, BAJA or other team involvement
    • Close by describing what they feel they will gain from this experience
