TITLE: Effect of Auditory Cues on Performance and Learning Curve in AR Guided Assembly Task.
Abstract
This seminar explores the impact of auditory guidance integrated into Augmented Reality (AR) systems on performance, cognitive load, and learning curve in a manual assembly task. Manual assembly remains crucial in industries despite automation advancements due to complexity in certain tasks. This research investigates whether auditory guidance in AR can enhance the speed and efficiency of learning assembly tasks, reduce cognitive load, and improve overall task performance. Insights will be extracted from data including learning curve, error rates, cognitive load assessments (NASA-TLX), and EEG measures.
