Dr. Francine Schlosser (Odette School of Business) and Dr. Zbigniew Pasek (Faculty of Engineering) are team-teaching a joint 2nd year business and engineering course, teaching students from both disciplines the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. In this 300-person class held in CEI 1100, groups are comprised of engineering students developing innovations, and business students researching the feasibility of these products. By creating these interdisciplinary groups, the professors are hoping to create synergies between various faculties to develop an entrepreneurial culture across campus. The following 1-minute videos demonstrate the ideas developed in this class, and are a true testament of the success of interdisciplinary learning.
