Our Programs

Whether you are taking your first steps in your career or looking to advance your learning, the Faculty of Education offers a variety of programs and courses to help you make a difference leading the next generation.

Consecutive Program – Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

Our two-year consecutive program is for candidates with an existing degree. It integrates on-campus classes with classroom observation and teaching, qualifying you to teach in one of two possible divisions: Primary/Junior (JK-Gr 6), or Intermediate/Senior (Gr 7-12). Concurrent Programs – Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

Successful completion of this intensive 5-year program will earn you two degrees and eligibility to teach Primary/Junior (JK-Gr 6), or Intermediate/Senior (Gr 7-12).  Learn more about the Concurrent B.Ed. program. 

B.Ed./Diploma in Technological Education

This unique program is offered in blended delivery over the course of fourteen months and will earn you eligibility to teach technological students in Ontario High Schools. Learn more about Tech Education.

Master of Education

This program is highly geared towards conceptual learning, critical thinking, and practical application. Our students may choose from one of the three completion streams: a course-based option, a major paper, or a thesis project. Learn more about our graduate programs.

Joint PhD in Educational Studies

The Joint Ph.D. in Educational Studies is offered by Brock University, Lakehead University, and the University of Windsor. It has a focus on methodological advances in educational research and the integration of theory and practice. Learn more about our PhD program.

Continuing Teacher Education

Whether for professional improvement, personal growth or simply to broaden your skill set, we offer a large variety of courses and certificates to help you accomplish your goals. Courses and programs include:
