1) Course offerings are subject to adequate enrollment and faculty availability.
2) You are responsible for your own registration each term. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain faculty signatures on all documents/forms before submission to the Education Graduate Program Office. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that official registration has taken place, by checking the SIS.
3) The following courses may also be offered each term:

4) An Add/Drop form must be used in order to register in the following courses:

5) A student must be registered at the time of the Defence and Deposition of a Major Paper or a Thesis. Deposition is not complete until approval from the Office of Graduate Studies has been obtained.
6) Full-Time Students are required to maintain continuous registration throughout all terms of their graduate program.
7) A Leave of Absence may be requested of the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Education for reasons identified in the Calendar. The Associate Dean’s recommendation will then be sent to the Office of Graduate Studies for final approval by the Dean of Graduate Studies.
8) Part-Time Students are permitted to miss registering for one term without a re-application charge.
9) A term is defined as a four-month period coinciding with the academic calendar. (January to April; May to August; September to December)
10) Students working on Major Papers and Theses or drawing upon faculty or university resources must be registered (not just at the time of defence).
11) Students who are not officially registered will not have access to any university resources, including office space, computer access, library facilities, continuation of laboratory experiments, computer research applications and especially guidance by faculty members.
12) Students from another faculty wishing to take an M.Ed. course must follow these procedures:

Petition Associate Dean, GR, Faculty of Education (email: edugrad@uwindsor.ca) for permission to take an M.Ed course.

The course must be used for credit toward your graduate degree.

Upon approval from the Associate Dean, complete an Add/Drop form and have it signed by your department's Chair/Dean, indicating that your faculty approves of you taking the Education course and that it will be used for credit toward your graduate degree.

Submit the Add/Drop form to the Education Graduate Program Office on Floor 3 of the Education Building for an approval signature.

if your Add/drop form is approved, it will be forwarded to the Office of Graduate Studies, provided that all Education students have registered first.
