Our teacher education programs are geared towards students who are looking to pursue a career in teaching. Successful graduates will be recommended to the Ontario College of Teachers and gain valuable skills and experience that will help set them up for success in the classroom.

Pathways to the classroom:
Consecutive Program – Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
Our two-year consecutive program is for candidates with an existing degree. It integrates on-campus classes with classroom observation and teaching, qualifying you to teach in one of two possible divisions: Primary/Junior (JK-Gr 6), or Intermediate/Senior (Gr 7-12).
Concurrent Programs – Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
Successful completion of this intensive 5-year program will earn you two degrees and eligibility to teach Primary/Junior (JK-Gr 6), or Intermediate/Senior (Gr 7-12).
B.Ed./Diploma in Technological Education
This unique program is offered in blended delivery over the course of fourteen months and will earn you eligibility to teach technological students in Ontario High Schools.
