The Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor would like to invite you to our annual grant writing ‘bootcamp’ workshop, which will be held virtually on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 10am to 12pm.
This session is part of the Graduate Student Scholarship Support program aimed at helping graduate students building their capacity, skills, and knowledge base to apply for graduate funding to facilitate their research endeavours. The focus of this workshop will be on providing information and support to MEd and PhD students interested in learning about funding opportunities. The training session will include:
- information regarding funding agencies;
- essential information to help students on their grant application writing journey;
- key dates to be mindful of when applying for grants;
- vital resources to help in the application process; and
- opportunities for peer feedback on grant applications.
Additionally, through this program students can arrange for one-on-one feedback sessions on their grant applications with graduate students who have been successful in acquiring funding on an ongoing basis.
Graduate students at all levels of their programs – and prospective graduate students – are welcome to attend!
The training sessions will be held virtually.
Students are invited to register before September 18, 2024, by accepting the MS Teams invite through this email.
*Students are strongly encouraged to BRING a draft of their 2-page research proposal (for PhD students) or 1-page research proposal (for MEd students) to the bootcamp.
