Justin Yelle

Justin Yelle is the Master Carpenter for University Players. Justin was part of the initial cohort for the pilot Entertainment Technology program at St. Clair College in 2007, a course which he subsequently taught Scenic Construction and Technical Production for several years. He sharpened his skills working on over 300 stage productions holding numerous crew positions such as, Stagehand, Lighting, Audio, Rigging and Carpentry working alongside household names such as KISS, Journey, The Tragically Hip and many more.

Other career highlights include being part of the initial startup team and show crew for the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor in its 2008 opening year, Head of Lighting for the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts Chrysler Theatre and receiving The St. Clair College Entertainment Technology Faculty Academic Award in 2009.

Justin is passionate about live entertainment and theatre production, he is committed to sharing his knowledge and takes pride in facilitating entertainers in their endeavours. His work, as he sees it, is an extension of their expression.
