Curious minds and future students are invited to explore the world of psychology at Psych Night on Wednesday, April 30.

Hosted by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the event will begin at 7 p.m. in Room 100 of the Toldo Health Education Building.

The evening will include a mock lecture on “How to be a Critical Consumer of Information,” along with insights into what it’s like to study psychology at the University of Windsor.

With years of data and a wealth of publications, Tanya Basok, associate dean of research in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, has become an authority on the experiences of migrant agricultural workers and has leveraged her research knowledge as an expert witness in court cases fighting to protect their rights.

Transforming the First Year Experience for FAHSS students

Making the transition from high school to university is an exciting and often stressful transition. This summer the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and, Social Sciences (FAHSS) launched a pilot program called Transform First Year for incoming first year FAHSS students to ease the transition and give them a jump on their first semester.
